Ragdoll Card

It's new release day at Digistsmps4joy. For my inspirational design team card, I chose Ragdoll 1 (J1877). Isn't she  cutie?

I colored this adorable image using Copic Markers.

I cut the colorful image out leaving a narrow white edge. I adhered a colorful mat to a white base card. I used my Cuttlebug Die Cutting Machine with the Sizzix #660289 dies to cut the baby dresser and various other pieces from card stock. I glued each on the mat and glued the image on top. I embellished the dresser with sticky pearls for the draw pulls.

I hope you like my baby card and plan to visit Digistamps4joy to see more lovely stamps.

Pink Birthday Card

https://spaces.chec.io/7242
This month's challenge at A Snowflakes Promise is sponsored by Morgan's Artworld. I chose to use Kitten Queen II for my design team inspirational card.

I colored the hair and skin with Copic Markers and pieced the dress for this cute image. The dress was cut from the Hearts and Stripes paper pack by My Favorite things. The white collar and cuffs were colored with a white Gelly Roll 08 pen. I added black fine line details with a Micron 01 pen. I cute out the print dress and the image and adhered the dress on the image.

I glued a double mat of a shimmery print paper and a pink paper to a white base card. and glued the image on top, adding a small light pink bow to her hair. I used my Cuttlebug die cut machine to cut out the sentiment (Sizzix 660024) also in a light pink. I glued the sentiment in place.

I hope to see you starting the new year by sharing your work with us in the challenge at A Snowflakes Promise.

St. Augustine, Florida New Years Eve 2017

On Sunday, December 31, New Years Eve, Sandy and I spent the day in St. Augustine. He had his camera and I had my Victorian clothing. We had fun walking around town, my posing and Sandy's shooting! Our first stop was the Downton Abbey Exhibit at the Lightner Museum on King Street, where we posed with the cast of the show.
Sandy and I posed with the staff of Downton Abbey.

There were several places to pose right there around the building outside too.

You can see the Casa Monica Hotel, across the street from the Lightner.

Flagler College is across King Street from the Museum.

It was fun picking the right spots to pose and getting into position for a shot near a passing horse.
                                                                 Here's the pharmacy.
Sleds are nice to pose in for that authentic look!
Do I pass as the schoolteacher at the oldest school house?
The bed and breakfasts were all decked out for the holidays.
This is church that Henry Flagler built for his family.

A French Pastry shop on St. George Street....yummy!
We had a fun day in town, like we always do!

Sunny in Florida Card

http://digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_36&products_id=1614
http://digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/
There is a new challenge today at Digistamps4joy. The optional theme is to use your favorite color combination. My favorite colors are yellow, orange and a bit of green, perfect for Florida.

I used Copic Markers to color Emma, my choice to the design team inspirational card. I placed the colored image in the Craft Artist program and merged her with a Flagler Beach, Florida background created by my husband Sandy Brooke. I  added the sentiment in that same program. I printed the card and adhered it to a blank white basic card.

Come join the challenge at Digistamps4joy.
